The weather is looking great for canoeing this Bank Holiday Weekend! May is a great time to see the Bude Canal as it’s bursting in to life with plenty of blossom! Who knows you may even see a Water Vole!

Wow! The weather is looking good for the Easter Weekend! Today we were finally in our t-shirts! Happy days canoeing on the Bude Canal!

We are certainly off to a great start this Spring!
Although fresh it has been dry and sunny, perfect for canoeing on the Bude Canal.

Great news for the 2019 season!
We have two new canoes joining the Bude Canoe Experience Fleet!
They are lovely Old Town Discoveries 16.9’s.
These are capable of carrying 500kg and have 4 seats!
Perfect for enabling young families to paddle together comfortably in one canoe.
Here is a picture of them being fitted out at our base nr Holsworthy.
We are well and truly open for 2019! We had great fun on the Bude Canal this afternoon! We paddled from the Sea Lock to Rodds Lock and back, mastered basic skills and did a couple of challenges, learned about the history of the canal and saw some wildlife! Top sightings included; Herons, a frog, nesting Moor Hens, Ducks, Geese and Swans!
All great fun! We are open for canoeing on the Bude Canal!!😃🛶😃
With about a week to go until we open we did our pre-season paddle!
Litter picking, a bit of pruning and wildlife spotting (top spot – grass snake)!
Everything is coming alive!
Finally got my Mum to experience the Bude Canal from a canoe! She loved it!
Roll on April when we open!
The new 2019 Bude Canoe Experience flyer has just gone off to print.
A similar design to the trailer banner and we think they look great.
We get the flyers back on Monday and they will then be distributed to local tourist offices. Once again a big thanks to our happy paddlers!
We are busy preparing for April when we reopen! This morning the new Palm buoyancy aids arrived! They are brilliant, bright, super cool looking and of course very buoyant! Everything a Bude Canoe Experience paddler needs in a buoyancy aid!
The Bude Canoe Experience canoe trailer is getting a make over with these great banners.
It will look amazing and it’s going to make us really easy to find!
Keep a look out for us in the Crescent Car Park, Bude from the beginning of April when our 2019 season starts!

The Bude Canoe Experience has been awarded Highly Commended at the South West Tourism Awards! The South West is a huge area and we are very pleased to have been recognised at this level. In fact we are the only canoeing oriented tour to be recognised at this level in the South West! Once again a big thank you to all of our customers and friends helping us achieve this award.
What a way to end our 2018 canoeing season!
